- This could be the rumored Motorola Razr foldable phone’s specs.
- According to the alleged specs, the Razr features the Snapdragon 710 processor.
- Verizon looks to be Motorola’s launch partner for the Razr.
With Motorola reportedly working on the Razr foldable phone, XDA-Developers obtained what could be additional information on the phone. Be warned — those that expected top-tier internals might be a bit disappointed.
First up is the new logo that Motorola reportedly designed for the Razr. The full marketing name for the foldable phone is unknown, though possible candidates include Motorola Razr, Moto Razr, or something else that includes “Razr” in the title.
XDA-Developers‘ source also claimed that the Razr will launch on Verizon. That lines up with a previous rumor that the Razr will be a Verizon-exclusive in the U.S., though there’s no mention of an unlocked version that works on other carriers.
Aesthetically, the Razr reportedly folds vertically and features two displays. Based on a previous patent filing, there’s a small display on the outside when closed and a larger display when opened.
Moving on to the rumored specs, the Razr reportedly features a 6.20-inch primary OLED display with 2,142 x 876 resolution when folded open. When closed, the Razr reportedly features a secondary display with an 800 x 600 resolution. Even though dimensions aren’t yet known, the secondary display could feature certain camera controls, work as a trackpad in Google Chrome, and feature quick access to things like Google Assistant, notifications, media controls, quick settings, and more.
Under the hood, the Razr reportedly features the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, either 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a 2,730mAh battery. The battery is on the small side when compared to the larger batteries in the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X. That said, the battery information could be outdated.
Lastly, the Razr reportedly comes in white, black, and gold. XDA-Developers‘ source didn’t reveal pricing or availability details, though a previous rumor pegged the price at $1,500.
