The first-ever 1TB microSD card is now on Amazon! Previously, the only way to get the world’s highest capacity microSD card was to buy it directly from SanDisk.
However, it appears the storage behemoth is already sold out on Amazon.com. This suggests either a supply issue or possibly an unexpectedly-high demand for the card.
Whatever the case, if you must buy it from Amazon, your best bet is to click the “Email Me” button on the Amazon product page. That will sign you up for an email blast when the item is back in stock.
Once the card does reappear on Amazon’s shelves, it will cost you a pretty penny: the item’s list price is $450, or about $0.44 per GB of data storage.
If you simply can’t wait, the card — which is officially titled as the SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSD XC UHS-I Memory Card with a model number of SDSQXA1-1T00-GN6MA — still appears to be in stock at SanDisk.
Otherwise, click the button below to sign up for an email alert from Amazon.
